Maria Alexeychuk

Maria was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Lynn Alexeychuk. She is survived by her loving husband of five years, Michael Mayden; her cherished son, Colton Peterich; her devoted sister, Toni (Brian) Dieckmann; her nephew Dominic Dieckmann and niece Gianna Dieckmann. Maria also leaves behind her treasured dogs, Flynn and Charlie, who brought her great joy.

A dedicated professional, Maria found deep purpose in her work as a CPA, serving the communities of Alsip, Crete, and Beecher, as well as working with Hammer Financial. She took pride in helping others through her expertise and kindness.

Maria had a zest for life and a deep love for the outdoors. She enjoyed kayaking, hiking, and biking, and was a passionate equestrian who found peace and fulfillment in caring for her horses. She also loved music and made wonderful memories attending concerts with family and friends.

Above all, Maria will be remembered for her generous spirit, her strong sense of family, and the light she brought to every room she entered. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and love.

Maria will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322.
