i just was notified of Marilyn's passing. You will be missed my friend. i miss our long telephone conversations already. At least now you know what's around the corner. That trip to the corner was too short though!  Rest in peace Marilyn.  find Dave again and enjoy without pain.

I loved Miss Young's English classes.  I had her in Jr. High for two years.  She taught me to love to read and to write stories.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and used it in her teaching process.  Rest in Peace Miss Young.  You leave behind a legacy of well taught adults.  Thank you for all you have done for us in Griffith.  May God hold you forever in His loving arms.

I met Marilyn through her pets.  She always made us laugh when she brought them in for their appointments.  I know she was met by her beloved animals at the
Rainbow Bridge.

 I Had the pleasure of having Ms. Young for 9th grade English at good ol GHS. Our class was really wild. She put up with us. I have seen her in the last few years and boy could that women remember a class and who you were. She will be sadly missed. I have very fond memories of her and her class may she rest in peace

My condolences to Marilyn's family.  We became friends while working at Griffith Jr. High.  I regret that we did not keep in touch after we moved to Texas.  Hopefully she is at peace.

Marilyn was a wonderful colleague and friend. We shared a lot of good times at GHS. She was loved and admired and will be dearly missed! God bless and be with you, Marilyn.

Ms. Young was my 9th grade English teacher. I have some wonderful memories of her class. We use to laugh alot! I'd run into her now and then over the last 15 years and she always remembered who I was and who was in my class. I'm sorry to hear she is gone....

I became friends with Marilyn during our 
senior year at Lew Wallace High School. Then we lost touch with each other until this year, because it was our 50th year of graduation: 1961-2011. Marilyn and I resumed our friendship and enjoyed many long telephone conversations, as well as meeting in person.  Dear Marilyn, you will be sorely missed by everyone who knew you and loved you. We shared a lot over the years being neighbors even though we were more than that. We will miss you!

Rest in peace my dear friend. I already miss our long, philosophical conversations from the edgy to the humorous to the unknown... What a blessing to have shared so much in so little time. See you on the other side.
