Yeah, this morning I woke up and see that my message to you was put on here after a week of no shows.  That made me happy, starting my day off on the right foot.  Last night Karen that you worked with at J.C. Penney's called me and told me that her Dad is in the hospital with the same thing that happened to you before God took you to be with Dad and Larry.  He cannot eat, his food is asperating into his lungs.  We know from what happened to you that this isn't a good sign, and they say that this is a classic symptom of Alzheimer's.  Karen is going through a rough, rough time, just the same exact thing as I was going through with you, same thing to a T!!  I've always asked you to pray for anyone who needed it, and you always did, so I'm asking you to please pray for Karen's family, pray that what they are going through will be over quickly and that her dad will not suffer as they want for him to be at peace as well when that day comes.  Pray that they will be comforted in knowing that he will be with his son in heaven just as you are with yours and Dad.   Love you "bunches and bunches"!

Hi Mom, haven't tried writing to you in a few days because lately my messages haven't been being put on here, don't know who ok's them, and don't know why they haven't.  Anyway, I need you to do me a huge favor.  Janet that I work with, the one from Highland, not the detectives wife as you always asked, (lol), has a son that passed away yesterday morning.  I know in my prayers to you last night you knew that, but what I need you to do is if you can, let Janet know that Brent is fine and that he is with her.  I cannot imagine losing a child, as you yourself did, and since you know this feeling, if you can please whisper in her ear that heaven is a beautiful place, so she can have some sense of peace from all this hurt she is going through.  I love you little lady and I miss you so much, but I know where you are at that you are so happy and "alive" and all I imagine is you and dad holding hands and being together every single second.  Oh and Larry also being right there beside you guys.  Show Brent the way Mom and take care of him for his Momma!  Love you "bunches and bunches"!

Good morning Momma!  Sorry I didn't write yesterday, for some reason I was so tired, all I did was want to sleep when I got home from work.  I said my prayers and my rosary for you and then I just fell asleep before I got to write to you.  You of course know that you are on my mind everyday, I say my rosary for you and I think about you and everything we always did together and every minute that we spent together, and I reminisce and it feels so good.  Want to hear something that I did this morning?  On my way to work today, I was in a bad mood, something made me mad before I left for work, and as I was driving to work, I was stopped at a stoplight, and the light turned green, but I forgot to let the person ahead of me go, and I hit them from behind.  And it had to be a LEXUS car, a very, very nice car.  However, it didn't do any damage and the lady was so nice, but leave it up to me to hit one of the most expensive of cars.  :)   Anyway, I'm at work and just wanted to tell you I love you "bunches and bunches"!

Hi Momma, well I have not missed a day writing to you for a long time, and my note from yesterday is not on here.  What happened?  I hate when that happens, I want to write to you everyday and then at the end of the year, print everything out to put in a journal, so I'm sad my note to you from yesterday is not on here!  We had a snowstorm, and I wrote about how much you loved to see it snow when you lived in your apartment.  You loved your view.  So yesterday as it was snowing, I was thinking of you and how happy you would be.  I watched a video today of you from Christmas of last year and it made me cry.  I showed it to the girls at work.  They loved it.  They were so touched.  I miss you so much, and as the days go on, I miss you more.  So do me a favor will you?  Can you please give me another sign, so I know that you still feel all the love that I have for you?  I need that connection, that will never change.  I love you "bunches and bunches"! Hi my little lady Momma, so tonight after work believe it or not was my first time in the grocery store since you left me.  Just didn't have the umph to do any shopping or anything, didn't want people to ask me questions about you like they always did when I went into the store.  They always asked me how you were doing, and Ijust didn't look forward to having to say that you weren't with me anymore.  It was ok though, but for some strange reason when I left that store, I was thinking about you and just started crying on my way home.  When I use to go to the store, I would buy you all your treats to take to you whenever I visited, and you would get so excited to see what I brought you.  So glad that I finally did it, went and got it over with and now can go without having to "stress it".  Tomorrow we are suppose to have a snowstorm, but you will be happy to know that I am off, Justin is off, Katie is off and we won't be having to drive on the bad roads.  I remember how you use to call me to make sure I got home and worried like heck until you knew I made it home safe.  Well tomorrow you won't have to worry, I'll be home all nice and cozy thinking of you as I watch it snow.  I remember when you use to look out the window when you lived in your apartment and you would call me and say how beautiful it was looking out your way.  BUT I know where you are is ever more beautiful that we here on earth could imagine no matter how hard we try.  I bought a book the other day called "Grieving the Loss of a Mother", and it has helped me alot.  Everything in there was just as it has been in my life since you left me.  It was like it was written about you.  It was comforting to see that others have gone through what I have gone through, good to see it's normal the way that I feel.  You are a hard person not to miss little lady.  I love you "bunches and bunches", Love you, Love you, Love you!!!

Hi my little lady, just finished up saying my rosary and all my other prayers, and got an e-mail from Chris who is camping in Florida.  She asked me to send her some pictures of you, the one in particular with you wearing her "red hat" when you all were here on Easter.  That was such a cute picture.  But then I found some other good ones and forwarded them on to her as well.  She loved them all. One of them was from when we took you to see the Mary Statue that you loved so much.  You were so funny everytime I took you for a ride you asked me if that statue was still there.  I would smile, because I knew that was my hint to take you to see it AGAIN.  :)  I didn't mind, as a matter of fact, I would do anything to have you here to be able to take you back there again.  But I know you are better off where you are.  I had a pretty good day, made it through without a tear, until I looked for the pictures to send on to Chris, but it was ok, the tears just mean alot of love and that's a good thing.  Time to get to sleep, have to work in the morning.  As usual, love you "bunches and bunches" - Love you, Love you, Love you!

Well Momma, today you must be really happy in heaven, even happier than what I know you are already.  And why?  Because you are with the love of your life, your husband on his birthday.  This day use to make you sad because you weren't with Dad to celebrate and didn't have many years of him being here to celebrate those birthday's with him.  Not now though, I wish I could peek up into heaven to see the smile on your face as you celebrate this first birthday with him.  Love you Mom.  Give Dad a kiss for me, I already wished him a Happy Birthday before I even opened my eyes this morning.  Love you "bunches and bunches".

Hi Mamma, tonight we are at Katie's apartment that I always wanted you to see so badly, but you never got the chance and that makes me sad, however, I'm pretty sure you can see it just fine now.  She is making Alan, Justin and I dinner tonight, and that was a nice surprise.  She is making us Chicken and mashed sweet potatoes and corn, and I'm pretty amazed at what a good cook she has become.  Thank goodness for so many of your recipes, and thank goodness we had such an awesome cook/baker for a Mom.  Everytime I make something you made, I think of you, and I remember being so excited when I would come home from school, and you would be at work and dinner was on the stove, and I could not wait to see what was under those lids.  It was always something that I wanted, you were such a good Mamma.  And then of course no store bought desserts for you, only homemade, and yummy they were.  Those are some great memories, I cherish them with all my heart, just the same as I do you.  I miss you little lady, I sure wish you were with me to cook and bake for me.  As a friend said about her Mom, if God came down from Heaven and said to me, "Ok, I will let you see and talk with your Mom for 10 minutes, but I will have to take 10 years off of your own life", I would do it in a heartbeat.  That was the best way I ever heard how much someone can miss someone and express it.  That's how much I miss you and love you.  You were admired and loved more than I believe you could ever know.  Time to eat, love you "bunches and bunches".

It's almost bedtime, I just got done saying my Rosary for you, my Mamma, my Love, and I thought of how nice it would be to see your face and hear your voice again, so I did it.  I watched a very short 30 second video I took of you while visiting you one day, and it was the one of you with your "lobster" you won at Bingo, in that video you were being silly and dancing in your chair to the music that really ugly goofy looking thing was playing.  You were so darned cute in that video, at first I cried these HUGE, crocodile tears, they were running down my face so fast I couldn't even catch them with a kleenex, and when I got that under control I watched it again and again and again and after like the 5th time, I was smiling.  I always feel you with me, I truly do, I know you're here making things easier for me, but I thought this was the night to SEE you again and HEAR you again, and I'm so glad I got the courage up to watch you.  I feel such a happiness inside right now, because I'm so, so glad that I took that video as well as other ones I have as well.  I will ALWAYS be able to see you and hear you now when I'm feeling sad and lonely.  You were always the one to cheer me up when I was down, and you still will be  able to do that by just a single tap on a video.  All the time I complained about how much I hated my phone, it was too complicated, but thank goodness I never got rid of it, that phone is what is giving me back my happiness, those videos on that phone are truly what is priceless in my life right now.  Have to go finish saying my prayers, just wanted you to know how you made my night tonight.  Love you "bunches and bunches my little lady love"!!!!!

Hi Momma, so today I went to the Shrine of Christ's Passion to buy a prayerbook.  It's so hard saying all my prayers at night with holy cards falling out of my book I keep them in, so I went and bought an actual book, one for me and one for Alan.  Yup, I'm taking over all those prayers you said, I'm holy now, you would be proud.  Not that I didn't pray before, but I'm praying extra hard now.  :)  Oh and I had the nicest dream about you last night, I woke up smiling and then crying when I realized it was a dream.  But all in all they were still happy tears, happy that I had and still have the best Momma in the world!  Happy that God gave you to me to raise me to be the person that I am.  So many are so less fortunate to have that.  I am blessed!  Love you "bunches and bunches"!

Hi Momma, haven't written for a few days, not much to say, same old thing, same thing that will be for probably the rest of my life, that I miss you more than ever.  Today I went to the Dr. to get my blood pressure check for refills for my medication and of course my blood pressure was higher than it should be on meds, but the Dr. said that probably with the stress of losing you, it added to the problem.  He said that was the normal part.  Anyway I think about you every single day, and always will and I always have that sadness, but along with that sadness comes alot of smiles.  I have no regrets for the relationship I had with you, I'm so glad that we did so much together and had so many things that we shared together.  I just don't think I will ever be able to buy "sponge candy" again.  Not without a sadness in my heart.  There are so many things that will always remind me of you, but in so many ways, that is a blessing, and yes, even the "sponge candy".  Love you "bunches and bunches" my sweet little lady!

Happy New Year little lady!  I'm going to try to make the best of this one, but already it's the first day and it's not looking too good.  I'm kind of down today, but not feeling well either so maybe that has something to do with it.  On top of the fact that I miss you.  I can only imagine how you are feeling up there in heaven and what a celebration you had as the New Year rang in.  Anyway, just wanted to say that I love you "bunches and bunches".  xxxooo

What the heck happened to my long post I wrote on the 29th?  Oh well little lady, it's New Year's Eve, and I cannot believe that the year is over.  I am kind of glad that it is.  Tonight I am home alone as Alan is at the Fire Station and the Kids are at Katie's for a party.  So tonight, it's me, Bob (cat), and you (ashes), partying the night away together.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  I need some alone time, and am looking so forward to some peace and quiet.  You have the Happiest of New Years in Heaven little lady, your wishes have come true, now CELEBRATE!  Love you bunches and bunches!

I know you remember me telling you about us getting a puppy from Nicole and John since Patches had to be put to sleep.  Well guess what?  Today she opened her eyes just a bit, and they are bright blue.  I cannot wait to get her, she will be coming to us via airplane on February 1st.  The reason for me telling you this is that since you have been gone, she has been making me smile and making my day a little brighter!  Alan and the kids don't do a bad job of making me smile either, but I think they are always watching me to make sure I'm ok!  I don't know how long it will take me to be ok, but I am getting better, I'm able to talk about you without crying so that must be worth something right?  :)  That doesn't mean that I don't miss you and you know that, it means I realize that you are so happy where you are, and that you aren't in a Nursing Home anymore, you don't have back pain anymore and you don't have that stupid dementia.  Where you are at, you are yourself again, and that makes me think how I don't have to worry about you, the feeling of worrying about you was so scary to me but couldn't be helped.  I had been worried about you since you stopped living on your own, I was always so afraid for the phone to ring always hoping it wouldn't be bad news about you.  That's over.  There is nothing but good for you now, and I have such a Peace about that.  During those times I have a weak moment, and there are still quite a few, I try to think reasonably and talk myself out of a down time.  That's where RUBY, my puppy comes in to the picture. For those of you who didn't know Mary well, I would like to share that even in her soft spoken very shy person stood a women of complete character, she was a true women of virtue, she worked hard and took care of her family without complaint. She feared as we all do how will we ever manage? But, to her own surpise SHE did! She was not a women of wealth according to the worlds standard, but, OH SHE Truly was wealthy...And know she is wearing the crown of glory. Walking of streets of Gold. Hey Mom, don't slip and fall ok! LOL.....xoxox

Good Morning little lady, I think it's going to be a better day, am at work and don't sit around thinking like I do when I'm at home.  We woke up to snow today, a little late, it would have been nice for at least Christmas, but what we have today isn't going to last, it's been unseasonably warmer than usual.  Taking our Christmas Tree down today, ready to get back to normal, of course as usual we cut our tree down, but with everything happening, we never thought to water it more than a couple of times, so I'm glad I'm at work today and don't have to take it down with Alan, there is going to be a HUGE mess!  :)  You know me, I taped so many Christmas movies, so Alan and Justin are glad that they can "touch" the TV again without me yelling at them.  :)  Anyway wanted to let you know as usual that you are on my mind again first thing this morning and that of course I love you 'bunches and bunches'!

Goodnight my little lady, it's time to go to sleep, have to work tomorrow, today was an edgy day for me.  I'm not sure why, just wasn't in a very good mood.  Usually when that would happen I would get in the car and come and visit you and you would always make me feel better.  Sometimes I don't get it, there are days when I feel pretty good and then there are days when I feel pretty darn bad.  I feel without you in my life, there's a huge part of me that is missing.  Alot of my friends have told me that "when your Mom passes away, you are never the same again", and I wonder if that is true.  Although it has only been 2 1/2 weeks since you left me, it's way too soon to feel back to normal right now, so what I'm feeling is to be expected I guess.  If you hadn't meant the world to me, this wouldn't be so hard, but you did, and I know you knew and still do know that.  Anyway, I love you bunches and bunches, it's time for me to get some sleep and start a new day tomorrow, hopefully it will be a better one.  Hugs and kisses!

Happy 1st Christmas in Heaven Momma!  I know it has to be a joyous time for you and Dad and Larry all together again, as well as everyone else you were reunited with.  It was only a year ago this very day that you were here at my house sitting at the card table I set up for you in the living room coloring in the new "grown up" coloring books I got you.  What I remember most is that as you were coloring, you began to sing "Silent Night".  I joined in and we sang the entire song without you even looking up, you were concentrating so hard on your picture.  After we were done, you started to sing again, this time by yourself and I took a video of you without you even knowing.  It is the most precious thing I own right now.  I played it today, I cried as I played it, but they were tears of appreciation for God giving you to me for all of my years and for letting me have the closeness with you that we had.  You were always my best friend, and my sweet little lady.  I have NEVER  known in my life another person who was so innocent and so unselfish.  You never thought of yourself but everyone else and put all of our needs before yourself.  So now it's your time, it's your turn to enjoy the Peace that you always gave to us.  And somehow that peace comforts me so much because I know you are where you've always wanted to be.  I love you my little lady, "bunches and bunches"!  P.S.  Last night at Pat's we had the best time, we talked of you with both smiles and tears, but it was so comforting.  We have so many wonderful memories of you Momma.  P.S.S.  That pop can?  That was you, wasn't it?  : )

Good morning to my Momma and pretty little lady I know your happy today that all of your family will be together today to celebrate our Christmas Eve as usual and the only thing missing will be you but we know you will be there with us along with Dad and Larry in spirit and I know it will make you all happy to see everyone together proud of the family you and dad created. We will miss you opening all your presents but will try to make it a happy day full of past memories of you and continue to make you proud of us.  We love you bunches and bunches forever you will live in our hearts and our thoughts.

My Beloved Mother - In- Law, who was so much more than that. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have been in your life. I hope you know how much I loved you. I will miss you forever. I will always remember on one of your most lucid days. as I was giving your nurse a talking to when you looked directly into my eyes and smiled that lovely smile and shook your head and laughed. I knew you knew that I was taking care of your needs. And you laughed with gratitude. I was so honored to be able to help when you needed me. My heart aches today as much as the day you went home. I take comfort in the fact that you told me you were ready and wanted to be with Jesus. I know that you are and remember your promise to me ok.Our secret....xoxo

Hi my little lady, so today I'm at work and of course remember how I told you all the time this is our slow time of year?  Well today it was unbearably slow, and so I wrote out all my thank you notes to everyone that came to your wake and made donations to hospice in your name.  As I was writing those thank-you's I was filled with so much emotion of all different types.  I was sad to have to write those thank-you's instead of Christmas Cards, but then again as I was writing those thank-you's I also had a smile on my face thinking of the most BEAUTIFUL funeral servive I had ever seen.  The way your grandchildren all went in a procession to take up the gifts to the Priest, the way your grandsons were all your pallbearers, the way Katie and Kim did the readings and the beautiful words Chris expressed about you to all who attended.  Mom you truly had to be so proud watching everything, I imagine you and Dad and Larry all watching together and being proud of the children you raised, just like we are all so proud to have you as our Mom.  I hear such horror stories from people about their parents, and I think to myself how sad.  How lucky for me that I had the best.  I still have the best because little lady, you live on in my heart each and every day and that will never stop.  Love you bunches and bunches!!!!

Hi Momma, today was a better day, I've been praying for God to give me the strength to accept the fact that you are in a better place and happy being with Dad and Larry again.  I've prayed and prayed to not be so selfish wanting you to be here with me again.  However even with that being said, I sure do miss you and your asking me all the time "how do you walk in those heels"?  I would give anything for you to ask me that again, just to have you here.  Today we had our Christmas party at work for all of our residents, but all it made me do was realize how I'm dreading Christmas this year without you.  Anyway, love you little lady, just like we use to say, "bunches and bunches".

Yesterday was a bad day little lady.  I didn't even write to you, but I know what you're thinking anyway.  I got a new cell phone and decided to try it out and make sure that all of my information and pictures and videos transferred over to the new phone and I checked on one of your videos.  It was one that you said "Hello Cindy, I love you, you always make my day".  I cried and cried and cried, but only because I'm starting to realize that I'm not going to see you now and I'm missing you so badly ALREADY!  I'm so glad I have my videos and all the pictures I have of you.  The videos in particular so I can see you and HEAR you!   In the future when I'm more able to, I will look at those videos and smile instead of cry. I love you little lady!!!

Well Mom, the "cat that followed you home" broke my snowglobe that I had from you, came home from having gone out to eat with Alan and saw all this water all over the floor and little tiny shards of glass everywhere, he got in big trouble for that one.  : )  So I will tell you what I'm going to do, I'm going to send him to heaven with you ok?  P.S.  If he makes it!  Love you Momma!

Good morning little lady, you gave me my sign already this morning that you are with me, thank you for that.  Love you bunches and bunches!

Hi Momma, just want you to know that not one day has gone by that hasn't made me both cry and smile thinking about you.  I have such great memories of everything we did together and as selfish as it may sound, wish I could have still had even more.  I think people will understand why I say that.  Everyone who knew you loved you, you were everybody's favorite person.  I never knew you in my entire life to ever have even 1 enemy, how could anyone feel anything less than love and respect for you?  Each day that passes leaves me missing you just a bit more, but even through those times, I am so grateful that I had you for all of my 52 years.  When you passed, I not only lost my Mother but my Father as well as you are all I have ever known.  I am honored to have called you and continue to call you my Mom.  You were always my idol and will always continue to be the person I will try to model my life after.  I love you from near or far, I feel you from near or far, and I will always hold you so deeply in my heart.  You will forever be my "little lady".  "I love you bunches and bunches"!!!
