Paul E. Simpson Jr.

Paul E. Simpson, Jr., age 56, of Griffith, IN passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy, of 29 years; three children: Nikki (Michael) Stevenson of Munster, IN, Paul Simpson III and Jessica Simpson both of Griffith, IN; two grandchildren: Romi October Stevenson and Mars (Xavier) Stevenson both of Munster, IN; two brothers: Andy (Barbara) Simpson of Crown Point, IN and Keith Simpson of Hammond, IN; one sister, Misty (Allen) May of Lowell, IN; parents in law: Walter and Carolyn Downey of Hammond, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Jeanette Simpson. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Shawn Cornett, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, November 29, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mr. Simpson was a member of the First Christian Church of Griffith and retired from Arcelor-Mittal with 25 years of service. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s loving memory to the church.
