Peter Haluska, age 101, passed away September 14, 2013. He is survived by daughter, Kathy (Rob) Creviston of Griffith, IN, Bob (Toni) Haluska of Schererville, IN, Tom (Cheri) Haluska of AZ, and Jim (Deanna) Haluska of Crown Point, IN; five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson. Preceded in death by his wife, Oda Haluska, (December 3, 1990). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 9:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Theodore officiating. Burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 PM (prayer service at 4:00 PM) at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, IN. Peter was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was retired from Inland Steel Co. after 44 years.
