Richard was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for Inland Steel as a welder for 30 years. Richard enjoyed playing golf and was even a golf teacher. He was the youngest of nine children.
He is survived by his brother, Frank (Mercedes) Morales; his sisters, Flo (Joe) Fernández and Anita Hernandez; and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Esiquio and Luisa; his brothers, Manuel and Rich; and his sisters, Julia, Mary, Suzie, and Jenny.
A visitation for Richard will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
