THOMAS J. CHILDERS "LITTLE TOMMY" HIGHLAND, IN Thomas J. Childers "Little Tommy", age 55, of Highland passed away June 19, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; son, Michael; mother, Eleanor Childers; four brothers: John (Kathy) Childers, Ronald (Paula) Childers, Robert and James Childers; two sisters: Mary (Joseph) Zaragoza and Carol Stanley; brother-in-law, Ronald Strzelczyk; many nieces and nephews; his best buddies: Freddie and Marty. Preceded in death by his father, Ronald Cyril Childers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.) Highland, IN follow by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Peres officiating. Burial at Memory Lane Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday June 22, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas retired from Carpenter's Local 599 with 33 years of service. He was an avid sports fan. He loved watching the White Sox and the Blackhawks. He was a loving husband and father.
