Willie is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Mulder (preceded in death by Kevin Lee Mulder); her son, James E. Blackwell, Jr. (Laura); her granddaughter, Lesa Peters (Mark); her grandson, John Scott Blackwell, Jr. (Crystal Coe); her grandson, Jeremiah Wayne Biddle (Nicole); her granddaughter, Marylin Lucinda Winslow (Scott); and her granddaughter, Abigail Benna Hill (David). Willie is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Willie was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Blackwell, Sr.; her son, John Scott Blackwell; her parents, John Allen and Mary Elizabeth Brogdon; her brothers, Robert Brogdon, John Brogdon, Melvin Brogdon, Roland Brogdon; and her sister, Mary Ann Missal.
Willie was a devout Christian and a member of several churches during her lifetime. She was a devoted wife, a friend to many, and a mother to us all.

A Public Visitation for Willie will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322. A Funeral Service will occur Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home.
