Logan Kekamahau'oliakapu'uwai Quintal, a beloved son, brother, and grandson, passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 20. Born on January 3, 2006, Logan was a cherished member of the Hilo community.
Logan was a proud graduate of Waiakea High School, Class of 2025. He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, attending the Keaukaha Ward. Logan also held the honor of being a tribal member of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians.
He is survived by his father, Phillip J. Quintal of Hilo, HI; his brother, Dylan James K. Quintal of Hilo, HI; his sisters, Kealohilani K. Mahi-Lyons of Tacoma, WA, and Raegan Mckenna K. Quintal of Hilo, HI. Logan is also survived by his grandparents, Mildred Ululani Lyons of Hilo, HI, Marguerite Pablo of Banning, CA, and Ernest Quintal of Hilo, HI.
A service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Hilo Stake Center on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00am, with burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park.
Logan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
