Mrs. Aline S. Nabors

She was born to the late Nathan and Elizabeth Spencer on March 23, 1922.

Aline is a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class.

She worked as a beautician at Miller Brothers for many years before graduating from LPN School in 1964. She worked at Memorial Hospital and later worked 16 years for Dr. Billy Allen until she retired.

Aline was predeceased by her husband Carroll H. Nabors, Sr., grandson Jeff Pettit, sisters Maude Riddle, Christine Jackson, Lucille Seymore and Jewell Spencer, brothers Nathan, Leroy, Robert, Tom, Ralph and DeForest Spencer.

She is survived by her children Carroll H. (Charlotte) Nabors, Jr., and Nancy Pettit. Grandchildren Roger (Christi) Pettit, Craig Nabors, and Chuck (Meredith) Nabors. Great grandchildren Jessica (Trevor) Lottinville, Shelby Nabors, Madison Nabors, Tanner Nabors, Corey Pettit and Chase Pettit. Great Great grandchildren, Presleigh Lottinville and Jaiden Garrett. Also, several nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the staff at Lifecare of Collegedale and Amedisys Hospice for their loving care.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, 12-17-20 from 11 am – 1 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. Funeral services will follow immediately in the funeral home chapel with interment in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

We respectfully ask that all CDC Covid-19 mandates be adhered to, including wearing masks and social distancing, both at the funeral home and the cemetery.
