She is preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Beulah Kennamer (former owners of Red Bank Hardware).
Survived by son John P. Farr, Jr. (Peggy), Chattanooga, TN., daughter, Elizabeth “Ginger” Farr Krupka (Ed), Baldwinsville, NY., son Chris Counts (Melissa), Baton Rouge, LA, Grandchildren: John P. Farr III, Kendall Farr, Amber Myers, Chattanooga, TN; Clayton and Caroline Counts, Taylor and Brittnee Flowers, Baton Rouge, LA.
She is a Member of Red Bank United Methodist Church.
She was a long time employee at Erlanger Hospital Emergency Room, Repertory Therapy Services, and Soddy Daisy Medical Center…she retired from State of Tennessee, Mental Health Division.
She was a 1956 Graduate of Red Bank High School and attended the University of Chattanooga. She was an avid supporter of all Red Bank HS Athletics before, during and after her children’s participation. She was also a former Rainbow Girl at Red Bank Assembly #41.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Thursday and 10 to 11 on Friday at the North Chapel.
Services for Ann will follow at 11 on Friday in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Devotion with Rev. Jeff Lambert officiating.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
