Bobbie Sue Wright Hensley, 86, of Soddy Daisy died Monday, May 17, 2021 at her home. She was born October 28, 1934 in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Emmitt and Edith Wright. She was preceded in death by siblings: Thelma (Charles) Higgins, Junior Wright, Wilma (Charles) Shackelford, brother-in-law, Johnny Harper and lifelong friend Willie Faulk. She was a loving wife, Mom and Nana. She was a member of Daisy Community Church.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Bill Hensley; children: Kimberly (Darren) Norris, Kaye (Bruce) Cole and Dr. Alan (Amanda) Hensley; grandchildren: Jordan (Ryan) Williams, Walker Norris, Hunter Meeks, Ryan Meeks, Cooper Hensley and Beckham Hensley; sister, Mary Harper; brother, David “Sonny” (Shirley) Wright; sister-in-law, Jo Wright; several nieces, nephews and extended family and lifelong friends: Ted and Sue Smartt, Joe and Liz Burnette, and Katherine Faulk.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday, May 22, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jordan and Ryan Williams, Hunter Meeks, Walker Norris, Ryan Meeks, Chuck Simpson, Charla and Matt Bowen; honorary pallbearers Cooper Hensley and Beckham Hensley.
The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice and Bobbie’s caregivers: Mary, Nancy, Tiffany and Marylou for all their kindness and care.
