Carolyn was born in Chattanooga, to the late Evelyn Chambers Counts and Earl Martin Counts, Sr. She was a 1958 graduate of City High School. Carolyn was a member of the Red Hat Society and Saddle Pals Riding Club. She adored and loved her horses and dog.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert “Bob” C. Sharpe; brother and sister-in-law, E. Martin Counts, Jr. and Barbara Helen Counts; two nieces, Lara Counts Magallanes and husband Dan, and Tara Counts Parr and husband Lee.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, July 5, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Carolyn’s life will follow at 1 pm on Tuesday at the North Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn’s name to Lost Acres Horse Rescue, 7849 Charleston Pike, Chillicothe, OH 45601 or to your favorite charity.
