On December 25, 2016, Cheryl Rose Capps went home to celebrate Christmas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bettie Capps, a brother Charles (John) Capps, and a sister Carol Sue King. She is sorely missed by her surviving sisters, Barbara O'Malley (David) of Hixson, Tennessee, and Brenda Gear (Dale) of New Bern, North Carolina. Cheryl was much loved by her numerous surviving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Cheryl's passion for life was demonstrated by her love of family, friends, her job at Fillauer, all things Disney, and artistic expressions in music, porcelain doll-making, painting, photography, and decorating. She was beloved by those whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Highway 153, Hixson, Tennessee. Memorial service will follow at 7:30 pm. Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153
