He was a US Army veteran of World War II and worked as an electrician with Local 175.
Buddy enjoyed raising bantam fowl- chickens and pigeons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillie Mae Brumlow; sisters, Marie Sherill, Mary Strickland, Ruth Woody, Irene Tesner and Patricia Green; brothers, Leonard Brumlow and Joe E. Brumlow.
Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Melvia Bowman Brumlow; son, Douglas Leon Brumlow; brother Hershel W. Brumlow and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside in Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday April 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the McKamey Animal Center, at mckameyanimalcenter.org or a favorite charity.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
