He was born to the late Charles Curtis Watson and Maxine Garner Watson on September 7, 1948.
David was a 1966 graduate of Red Bank High School. He was a crane operator for 53 years. David and his son, Curt Watson, own Chattanooga Crane Rentals. He was a member of the Local 917 Operating Engineers since 1969.
David most loved the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Aneita Hilton Watson, the love of his life, for whom he was married to for 53 years. He is also survived by his beloved three children David Curtis (Jennifer) Watson, Casey Watson (Hans) Rose, and Caryn Watson (Chad) Culver. He was blessed with nine grandchildren Justin, Aaron, Reese, and Avery Watson, Hunter (Kim) Jones, Ella (Cristian) Lewis, Evan, Peyton and Caroline Culver. He is also survived by his brothers, Larry Garner (Martha) Watson and Steven Curtis Watson and several cousins.
He had great love for his golden doodles, Gracie and Bogey.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
