

Deborah was born on August 18, 1962 in San Diego, CA. she moved around a lot through her childhood because of her dad being in the Navy. After her dad’s retirement from the Navy, they settled down in Chattanooga.
She was a Red Bank Class of 1980 graduate. Shortly after high school, she gained employment at Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she was employed for 30 years at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Clark and brother, Michael Clark.
Survivors include her mother, Virginia Clark; daughter, Bianca Dodd; son-in-law, Adam Akins; brothers, Jeff (Ari) Clark, David (Kay) Clark; nephews, Matt (Shannon) Clark, Zach (Jessica) Clark; granddogs, Roxie, Tritt, Max, and Lucy; also her Sunday school friend, Shooter.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 5-8 Friday.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 Saturday from the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Wayland Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee and Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, PO Box 821, Alpharetta, Georgia 30009.
