She was an entertainer and performer for over 40 years. She was actively involved with the City of Chattanooga and the Tivoli Foundation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Connie Massengale.
She will be grieved and missed by her husband, Carl Garner, her son, Joshua Garner, and her stepdaughter, Kerrie Turner Hickman, all her friends and workmates at Memorial Auditorium and The Tivoli Foundation. They will all miss her, as she loved them all as children. They called her the Tivoli House-Mother. She was truly one of a kind and loved by almost everyone she met.
There will be a Celebration of Miss Debby’s Life to be held at the Walker Theatre in the Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 6:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tivoli Foundation.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
