Dianne was born in Gadsden, Alabama on March 27, 1951. She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Norris.
Dianne is survived by her loving mother, Louise Norris, her devoted husband of 38 years, George Buckner, her son Drew (Katherine) Buckner, her brothers, Don (Janice) Norris, Glen (Deloris) Norris, and Rick Norris, and several nieces and nephews.
She was a 1969 graduate of Dade County High School in Trenton, Georgia. Soon after, her more than 40 year career in banking began at United Bank, then moved to American National Bank, and Suntrust Bank, where she spent many years as branch manager. Dianne and her family are long-time members of Stuart Heights Baptist Church. She was an amazing woman who brightened the lives of her friends and entire family, and loved the Lord with all of her heart.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday, August 3, at Stuart Heights Baptist Church, Chattanooga Campus, with a service following at 4pm - 3208 Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, TN 37415
