Donna Deloris Kennedy, 75, of Harrison finished her journey on earth on October 3, 2017 and looked forward to her journey in heaven. She was of the Baptist faith and attended New Bethel Baptist church. She loved spending time with family and friends. She will be missed greatly by her family, friends and especially her dog, Maggie.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Carl Williams Kennedy, Sr.; sons, Carl William Kennedy, Jr. and Steven Victor Kennedy; sister, Doris Carol McDonald and several nieces and nephews who loved and respected her dearly.
The family would like to thank Home Healthcare and Hospice of Chattanooga for their kindness and care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 1 pm to 2 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
A graveside service will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens at 2 pm with Dr. James Hutchings officiating.
