Dorothy Jones Gibson, age 89, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019.

A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a graduate of Red Bank High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” R. Gibson; son, Kevin Lee Gibson.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, William R. Gibson, Jr. and wife Jill Lee Christianson and Mark Gibson and wife Karen; grandchildren, Sarah Wright and husband Justin and Josh Gibson; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 1 pm on Saturday, November 30, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Services for Dorothy will follow at 1 pm on Saturday, at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orange Grove, 615 Derby Street, Chattanooga, TN 37404 or www.orangegrovecenter.org
