Earlon played baseball for and graduated from City High School. He started working as a golf caddie and parking cars at an early age, and after graduation, he went on to have a very successful career with several companies. Cutter Laboratories and Brock Candy were just two of the companies where he went from working on the manufacturing lines to the title of Plant Manager in the last years of his career. He enjoyed several hobbies such as college football (Go Big Orange), woodworking, working on and restoring antique cars, and also playing golf, which he did frequently with his brothers and later with his nephews.
He was a talented builder and carpenter, from building his family’s first two homes to helping everyone that needed him with home repairs and home improvement projects.
Earlon was a good family man and friend, always giving of his time, talents, and finances to help his family and friends when they had a need. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
