She was born in Westwood, New Jersey then married her late husband Fred D. Lambert and spent many years in Glennallen, Alaska serving as a Missionary. They lived in the Chattanooga area for the past 35 years.
Eileen was the loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to Susan and her husband Dell and their son Richard and his wife Kelly and their children, Makayla and Dell Richard, IV, Coleen and her husband Tom and their son Derek and his wife Carie and their children, Emily, Shaina and Megan and Tim and his children, Azlee and Amelia. Eileen is also survived by her sister, Jeanne Avenengo and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am on Thursday at the North Chapel.
Graveside services for Eileen will follow at 11 am on Thursday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Longmire officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eileen’s name to Hospice of Chattanooga, P. O. Box 19269, Chattanooga, TN 37416 or to the Pipe Organ Fund at Hixson United Methodist Church, 5301 Old Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343.
