Evelyn Alice (Privette) Bannister went to be with God on, Monday, December 8, 2025. She lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee until she left us on this earth to go home with her Savior God at the age of 94 years.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Bannister; parents, Edith and Andrew Privette; sister, Mildred Allmon, and brother, H. Glenn Privette.
She is survived by two children, her daughter, Devonia Siever, and her son, Jack A. Bannister; granddaughter, Melissa Brown; grandsons, Eric Bannister, and Jason Michael Eslinger; 7 great-grandchildren, Erica Bannister, Rylan Eslinger, Chase Eslinger, Mason Eslinger, Aaliyah Brown, Ayriana Brown, and Ayden Brown; and two very close friends, Aaron Wilson and Trisha Hill.
A graveside service for Evelyn will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Highway 153 Hixson, TN 37343.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
