

Frances attended Texas Wesleyan College and was a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After graduation she worked within the realm of the Southern Baptist Convention. She was a summer missionary to California for the North American Mission Board and served on church staffs in California and Texas as an Age Group Specialist. After working as the Director of Admissions at Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, she served as a Field Consultant for the Sunday School Department of the Tennessee Baptist Sunday School Board and then with the Home Mission Board in Nashville, Tennessee. For a time Frances was also a guest conference leader for Lifeway Christian Resources. At the time of her retirement, she was employed by the Baptist General Convention of Texas in Dallas.
Frances dedicated her life to the service of others and followed her calling into her senior years. After retirement and relocation to Florence, Alabama, she pursued her lifetime of service as an active volunteer for various groups and organizations including ECM Hospital, American Red Cross, Safe Place and The Help Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Florence, Alabama.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Geneva (Hendricks) Kinamon, Chattanooga, Tennessee and her brother Charles C. Kinamon of Franklin, Tennessee. Survivors include sisters Marie (Harry) Maiden of Florence, Alabama, formerly of Decatur, Alabama and Anitta Kinamon of Florence, Alabama, formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee along with eleven nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 pm (EST) on Friday, October 24, at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery in Red Bank, TN
