She was born to the late Fred and Linnia Bell Weir Crisp of Decatur, Tennessee. Helen was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith. She was loved by her family, and retired from Cutters Laboratories.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lester R. Clark; daughters, infant, Elaine Josephine, and Theresa D. Clark; brother, Kenneth Crisp; sisters, Hazel Clark, Iva Lou Oliver, Carolyn Bowman, and infant Linnia Mae Crisp.
Helen is survived by her brother, Daniel Crisp of Decatur and a sister, Lois Campbell of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 10, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The Remembrance of Life Service for Helen will follow at 2:30 pm on Saturday at the North Chapel with Reverend Bruce Daughtery officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with friends and nephews serving as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank Roy and Sissy Kennedy for caring for Ms. Helen in her last days with Alzheimer’s.
