Helen Perry, 91, of Hixson, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016. A native of Jasper, TN, she has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 71 years and was a member of the Hixson United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Joe Perry; son, Joe Michael Perry and his wife Marcia, Bossier City, LA; two grandsons, Jim Perry and his wife Jennifer, Ooltewah and Jeff Perry and his wife Brenda, Lavernia, TX; four great-grandchildren, Isabel, Jake, Jessica and Nick; brother, Fred Webb, Jasper, TN.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday (eastern time) in the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Reed Shell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association at: diabetes.org
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153.
