Henrietta was born in 1926 in Rhea County, but lived most of her life in Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Suttles; son, Gary Suttles; grandson, Brandon Suttles; sisters, Sudie Miller Lowe, and Margaret Holloway; brother, H. C. Smith, Jr.
Henrietta is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Glenn) Carter of New Jersey; grandson, Matthew (Jill) Carter; four great grandchildren; sisters, Elzie Smith Gibson of Evansville and June Kyle of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation and services are private for the family, per the request of Henrietta.
