Mr. Henry T Horne

Henry was a fine gentleman. He was born March 8th, 1927, in Richland Georgia, the son of Jessie Lee Horne Sr. and Dora Watson. Henry was a resident of Harrison, Tennessee. Henry was immersed in the printing business, initially as a Typesetter and later as a Printer. His long career saw him at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Chattanooga Times Free Press. He thoroughly enjoyed post-retirement as a courtesy clerk with Winn Dixie and Bi-Lo in Harrison.

Henry was preceded in death by 1st wife: Doris Wynell Moore and 2nd wife: Patricia J. Horne. And deceased daughter Cynthia Horne Fairchild. And deceased stepson George Sines, Jr.

Surviving sons- Henry (Jan) Horne, James (Kay) Horne, Rainey (Tammy) Horne. 11 grandchildren, 17 great grands and 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Surviving stepchildren Cindy (Alan) Bush, Vicki Monroe, Randall (Mary) Sines, Robin Marshall; and 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Henry was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great grandfather who will leave behind many beautiful memories. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Hospice of Chattanooga.

Visitation will held at 2:30pm and memorial service following at 4:00pm on September 24th, 2023 at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343. Interment is Monday, September 25th, at 3:30pm at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
