Leland was born in Chattanooga, grew up in Pisgah, Alabama and graduated from Pisgah High School. He served our country in the U. S. Navy and retired from the trucking business. Leland was a member of Battlefield Baptist church where he served as trustee.
He is survived by his wife of 18 ½ years, Linda Hall; six children, Leland Bruce (Cindy) Hall, Randy Hall, Paul T. (Bambi) Hall, Kimberly (Carl) Duff, Ronald (Sonya) Hix and Kristie (Gene) Walker; nine granddaughters; three great grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 8 on Thursday and 11 to 1 on Friday at the North Chapel.
Services for Leland will be held at 1 on Friday at the North Chapel with Rev. David Crane and Rev. James Langston officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leland’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
