Jamey was born on March 6, 1964 in Chattanooga. He was a graduate of Hixson High School and received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Earl Evans, Sr.
Jamey is survived by his loving mother, Faye McDonough Evans; siblings, Mary Anita Evans McMillan and husband James of Ooltewah and Donald Earl Evans, Jr. and wife Holley of Dallas, Texas; several nieces, nephews and great nieces; and three close friends from Atlanta, David Ham, Paul Becker and Christopher Floyd.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm EDT on Sunday at the North Chapel.
Services for Jamey will follow at 3 pm EDT on Sunday at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:30 EDT on Sunday at Griffith Cemetery in Marion County.
