He was a long time businessman in the Chattanooga area, a Navy veteran and active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son Shane Richard Robbins. He was preceded in death by his wife Mavis Sexton Robbins.
Services will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, May 17, 2013 in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Darrell Duggar and Pastor Brady Woods officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel and Friday, May 17, 2013 from 9 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at 1 pm CDT at Elmwood Cemetery, in Birmingham on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
