Mrs. Jean Lee Alder

Jean was an active member of Signal Mountain Baptist Church for 37 years where she served and worshiped her Lord. She was a member of the Class of 1953 at Chattanooga High School. Jean was a Co-Founder of Alder & Cox Insurance Company. She was an avid golfer and volunteer for many PGA golf tournaments.

Jean was preceded by her Husband of 50 years, S. Douglas Alder; son, S. Douglas Alder, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Pam Lee.

Survivors include her brother, Ronald David Lee; Nephew-Michael (Jessica) Lee; nieces, Victoria Lee, Gabriella Lee, Madeline Lee, Addison Lee, and Parris Lee; grandchildren, Barbara (Chad) Lawson, Paul (Kylie) Vincent, and Andrew Bangasser; great grandchildren, Daniel Lawson, John Carter Lawson, Macklin Vincent, and Alana Vincent; and great nephews, Liam Widows and Luca Bennett.

There will be a funeral service at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 7th. A private family graveside committal will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family respectfully requests that masks be worn by all attending the service.
