Joshua Virgil Harris, 30, of Spring Hill, Tennessee passed away on March 29, 2019. He enjoyed his father coaching his baseball games and won many trophies as well as being one of the best pitchers his age. Josh had tremendous love for cars and music. His personality would come out when he was at car shows with his dad and very good friend, Jason. He attended SAE Institute of Music & Production in Nashville. As a teenager he became known as one of the best skateboarders in the state and often enjoyed Frisbee golf with his dad.
He is preceded in death by his father, Steve Harris; grandfather, Red Garner; girlfriend, Amber Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy (Joseph) Moses; sister, Michelle Goza and daughter, Katie, and Michelle’s fiancée, Shawn Bowen and his son, Aiden; step-sister, Amy (Matt) Moses and their children, Ebba & Farwell ; brother, Shawn Harris and his children, Arianna & Avery; grandmother, Ann Harris Garner; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 2 pm to 8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 2 pm to 3 pm with the funeral service following immediately after at 3 pm at the funeral home with Chaplain (Major) Chris Goza officiating. Interment will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
