He was born in Dalton, Georgia to the late John and Leila Weaver Denayer. Larry served our country in the Air National Guard. He retired from TVA in the safety department. Larry loved the Lord and was very faithful. He was an avid painter and enjoyed restoring street rods. He was able to run his cars at Daytona and Talladega.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra K. Denayer and a brother, Johnny Denayer.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Sandy (Brian) Cogburn; grandsons, Lucas and Zachary Cogburn; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, December 21, and 11 am to 12 pm (noon) on Tuesday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Larry’s life will follow at 12 pm (noon) on Tuesday at the North Chapel with Pastor Brandon Johns officiating.
