She was a member of Middle Valley Church of God.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Jo Nell) Thurman; and grandson, Jeff Thurman.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 12-1 Friday, September 13.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 Friday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
