She graduated from Lorain High School in 1958 and started working at the Thew Shovel Company where she met her husband, Gordon. They married on May 13, 1961, and had two daughters, Lora and Lisa. The family moved to Hixson, Tennessee in 1978, where Lois soon began her 43-year career as a Mary Kay consultant and director. She loved and appreciated her customers, her Mary Kay family, and all the products. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Lois was a devoted daughter, sibling, wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren, Abigail, Hayley, Chloe, and Sofia. She never missed a Grandparent’s Day at their school.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; daughter, Lora Trotter; sister, Dorothy Vidovich; and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Grant) Dobson; granddaughters, Abigail (Nathan) Shinn, Hayley Trotter, Chloe Dobson, and Sofia Dobson; brother, David (Joan) Nemeth; sister, Louann Phelan; a niece; and many nephews.

Before the service, a private family visitation will be held at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. The service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:00 am where she will be buried with her beloved husband, Gordon.
