Louise Stitt

Born in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to the late Albert and Edna King, Louise lived a life marked by faithfulness to her Lord and devotion to her family and community.

Louise was a graduate of Central High School and a founding member of the North Hixson Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, John Leslie Stitt.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her children, Cindy (Dawson) Carver, Mike (Leann) Stitt, and Amy (Marty) Gailey; brother, Jim (Carolyn) King. Louise was also a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm on Thursday, January 8, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Louise's life will follow at 2 pm on Thursday at the North Chapel with Minister Byron Nash officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise's name to Amedisys Hospice, 7205 Lee Highway, Suite B, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
