

Martha was born in Chattanooga to the late Fred and Annie Hammontree McKamey. She attended Trevecca School and was a longtime employee with Cutter Lab. Martha was a longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene and currently a member of Union Fork Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time gardening and just sprucing up the lake house.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Shearlie B. Parker, Jr.; daughter, Alisa Bratcher McMahan; great grandson, Hunter Jason Bratcher; siblings, Bill Helm, Betty Wolff, Robert and Mary Jo McKamey.
Martha is survived by her children, Ted (Becky) Bratcher, Jr., Michael Wayne (Sha) Bratcher, Sr., and Angel Bratcher (Jim) Kelly; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Tabitha, Michael, Jr., Annie, Jimmy, Johnny, Kristi, and Katie; nine great grandchildren; sister, Virginia “Gin” Cowart; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12 (noon) to 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 22, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Martha’s life will follow at 2:30 pm on Tuesday at the North Chapel with Reverend John Andrus and Reverend Mike Norris officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Elmcroft Assisted Living and Memorial Hospital for the care and love given to Martha.
