Mary Kathreen (Plemons) Horton, age 96, of Hixson, Tennessee went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 11, 2024. She was a member of Middle Valley Baptist Church and Ladies Circle Sassy Sewing Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Bluford Horton and her brother, Forrest Plemons.
Survivors include son, Joel Christopher (Belinda) Horton; daughter, Jennifer Horton; grandchildren, Rebecca Meaders and Joel Christopher Horton Jr.; and 5 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mary will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
