Mary Bettye Jones, 88 of Hixson passed away May 1, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of the Hixson area.
Mary was a member of the Hixson United Methodist Church, and was retired from Chattanooga State Community College.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ira P. Jones, parents, William Hamilton and Anna Hixson Beene, brother, W.H. Beene Jr., and sisters, Shirley B. Moore, Norma B. Trotter.
Mary is survived by her sister, Patsy B. (Tom) Wolfe, brother, John M. Beene, several nieces and nephews.
Private Graveside Services will be held Friday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery .
