Scott, along with his wife, Emily Gadd Clayton were both victims of a vehicle accident.
Scott was a 2008 graduate of Soddy Daisy High School and was employed at AP&L.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Clayton and his grandfather, Roy Dean Higdon.
Survivors are his parents, Jeff and Annette Clayton of Hixson; brother, Sean Tramel, sisters, Alisha Ashburn and Kayla Clayton all of Chattanooga; a niece, Lexi Clayton; grandmother, Pat Thornton of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandfathers, Jerry Bowers of Rossville, and Mark Blocker of Chattanooga; grandmother, Wanda Higdon of Georgia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at Chattanooga Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m.until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the North Chapel of Chattanaooga Funeral Home.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel.
