Oscar was a lifelong resident of the Rossville, Georgia area until he moved to the Soddy Daisy area. He served our country during the Korean War in the U. S. Army. Oscar retired from Ahlstrom Filtration in 1992 and was of the Baptist faith. Oscar loved and cared for his family and friends during his life.
Oscar is survived by his three daughters, Kathy (Tony) Whiddon, Vickie (Jackie) Brooks and Donna (Paul) Bookout; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Lewis Myers and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday at the North Chapel.
Graveside services for Oscar will follow at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at National Cemetery with military honors.
