Patricia A. Malone

Patricia Williams Malone, 73, passed away August 27, 2019 from Alzheimer ’s disease and Lewy Body Disease. She was born September 21, 1945 to John Gordon and Louise Hammontree Williams, a graduate of Ringgold High School and McKenzie Business School. She worked at the Baptist Book Store, before going to work at the Hamilton County Baptist Association office for 28 years before retiring in 2001.

She played piano and organ at many churches throughout her lifetime, starting at Ringgold First Baptist. She has been a member of White Oak Baptist Church for 43 years. She played the organ part time / fulltime for many years until she had to resign in 2014.

She is survived by her husband, Don E. Malone; sisters, Janet (Donald) Trew, Johnnie (Jerry) Johnson; brother, Jim Williams; 1 niece and 2 nephews.

The family would like to thank the Manorhouse and all the Pavilion staff, and Hospice of Chattanooga for all their help during these difficult times.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to White Oak Baptist Church, 310 Memorial Drive, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37415, the Alzheimer’s Association, or Hospice of Chattanooga.

The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 5-8 Friday, August 30 and at White Oak Baptist Church from 12-1 Saturday.

Funeral services will be 1:00 Saturday at White Oak Baptist Church with Doctor Tony Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
