Randy was born in Chattanooga and raised in Hixson. He owned S & S Cleaning Service and was retired from Chattanooga Trailer & Rental. He was a 1975 graduate of Hixson High School.
Randy loved and was completely dedicated to his family. If he was your friend you knew he was a true friend indeed. When he made a promise or gave you his word, he kept it. He was raised that way. He was a die-hard Tennessee VOLS fan and an avid hunter and deer tracker before his illness.
Randy was preceded in death by his Dad, Earl Sullivan.
Survivors include his mother Linda Tolbert Sullivan of Hixson; girlfriend, Pam Hopkins of Hixson; sisters and brothers in law, Janet (Andy) Ashford of Hixson and Cindy (Mark) Porter of Spring City; nieces Jenna (Matt) Baskette of Hixson; Sarah (Nick) Walker of Soddy Daisy; Laura Cunningham of Georgetown; April (Melvin) Swafford of Oak Ridge.
Aunts include Karon Tolbert of Hixson; Ruth Cox, Martha Sullivan and Barbara Hedrick of Dayton Mtn; Nancy Evans of Lakesite.
Great nieces and nephews Logan, Lexie, Charlie, Ruby Claire, Jackson, Callie, Josiah and Charis. Randy had 30+ first cousins, all of which he loved and had beautiful memories of growing up with.
An extremely heartfelt thanks to Randy’s nurse George Culver from Hospice of Chattanooga. Not only is George is a phenomenal nurse, he is a phenomenal human being.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 8, from 4-8 pm and Thursday, October 9th from 10:00 am-2:30 pm at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 9th at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Yother officiating.
Pallbearers will be Logan Catchings, Andy Ashford, Nick Walker, Ronnie Hall, Daniel Adair and Dusty Carroll.
