Dearest Connie,  I want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers each and everyday.  Neil was such a wonderful man and the two of you were just mean't for each other.  It showed in the "glow" that surrounded you.  I know it is comforting to think of Neil in the Kingdom of Heaven with no pain, just a huge smile on his face making a place for all of us someday. Neil has made a huge impact in our lives and our son Isaac in the short time we have known him.  We truly consider Neil one of Isaac's mentors and he will be missed. We are thankful for the time that Neil would take to talk to Isaac about his wrestling days.

Connie, I am so sorry to hear of Neil's passing.  I have travelled that road, so I can truly appreciate what you are going through right now.  May God wrap his loving arms around you and grant you comfort during this difficult time.

I am honored to have met Mr. Barnes and his sweet wife. I am so sorry for your loss Connie but so thankful for our time together last week. I wish there was more I could have done.

To the rest of the family, please accept our sympathy, thoughts, and prayers.  I consider my fortunate in that last year, in April, I found myself in Tennessee on business and it was only a few hours to Chattanooga.  I spent some time with my mom's sister, Aunt Lella, Connie and Neil.  I shared a lot in common with Neil, a love for Aunt Lella and Uncle Raymond, our families,  but the name......Ray.  I do wish that time would permit us to come up from South Florida during this time of family togetherness.  Although we left Chattanooga as small children, I have never left in my mind.....we love you all...... Tawny and Ray Canales, Lake Worth, Florida
