Rickey Rick L. Johnson Sr.

Rickey was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and owned and operated a Commercial Painting Company. He also owned and operated several rental and storage properties in the Chattanooga area. Rickey was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed his favorite hobby of collecting Lamborghini’s and “M&M” memorabilia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara “Bob” Jean and Charles Willis Johnson; brother, Joel Douglas Johnson.

Rickey is survived by his wife, Amber Lea Johnson and their two children, Kailee Alexis Johnson and Rickey L. Johnson, Jr.; children, Leigh Ann (Derrick) Posey, Jennifer Brooke (Shawn) Roberts, Caela Lynn Johnson, Keili Nikol Johnson and Kyler Douglas Johnson; seven grandchildren; brothers, Chuck (Margaret) Johnson and Ronnie Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the following nurses, Mina and Betty and all of his friends and family for the love and care given to him during his sickness.

The family will receive friends from 12 (noon) till 9 p.m. on Friday and 12 (noon) to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel

Services for Rick will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel with Rev. Jerry Yother officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, it was Rick and Amber’s request that memorial contributions be made to the Lana’s Love Foundation, P. O. Box 71886, Chattanooga, TN 37407.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
