A graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla, he moved to Chattanooga in 1968. He was an electrical engineer and retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority with over 30 years of service. He loved traveling, camping, cheering on UTC athletics and visiting with family and friends.
He was greatly loved by his wife, son, grandsons, several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; son, Marty (Jennifer); grandsons, Cooper; Conner (Leah).
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 12:30 PM, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Amy Nutt officiating. Entombment will be held in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM until service time at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
