Sallie spent most of her working life with the Tennessee Valley Authority. She enjoyed gardening, especially tending her rose bushes.
Sallie was a long-time member of Red Bank Baptist Church, and she immensely enjoyed her many years with the Faith Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Thomas.
Sallie is survived by her loving family, her son Mike (Paula) Thomas, her daughter Terri (Bruce) Thomas-Rollins, and son Mark (Lori) Thomas; 4 grandchildren, Nick (Becca) Thomas, Sam (Mike) Owens, Lauren (Michael) Sharp, Jacob Thomas, and Heather (Hunter) Nelson; 3 great grand kids, Mason, Caroline, and Cooper.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
A special thanks to Hearth Hospice for the passionate care given to Sallie in her last months. Also, thanks to the care givers of Baily Manor for their love and support to Sallie.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hearth Hospice.
