She was born in Cordele, Georgia to the late Grace Barron Bruce and Dewey Isom Barron. Sarah was a graduate of City High School and Chattanooga State Community College. She spent most of her working career at TVA Sequoyah Nuclear Plant from 1972 to 1994 in a variety of work areas.
Sarah was also preceded in death by her children, Linda Wallace and Patricia Frizzell.
Sarah is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold L. Miller, Sr.; son, Harold (Debbie) Miller, Jr.; grandchildren, Chris Taylor, Doug Frizzell, and Tyler Frizzell; sister, Ann Barron Nelson and a very close friend, Rodger Young.
There will be no visitation and a private family burial at National Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life Service for Sarah will be announced later at Burks United Methodist Church in Hixson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Burks United Methodist Church Helping Hands Fund or Building Fund at 6433 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343.
